Zoe and her B-17

In celebration and in honor of World War 2 Veterans during Memorial Day Weekend here in the United States, I rezzed several of my WW2 Aircraft at 2 of my Caledon parcels. Here's a photograph of me in front of my B-17 from master aircraft builder Bancos Milestone....

Zoe's B-17

In a previous post I mentioned my new airplanes. Here is a demonstration of the 4 engine startup and shutdown of Blancos Milestone's B-17 Flying Fortress....

My first flight was documented via Twitter:

"Amazing! I flew a 199 prim B-17 for 15 minutes! No crashes, safe landing! Woohoo! :from Caledon Mayfair [22,221,733] in SL"

Aboard my new Mayfair SkyPlatform

I have a new 4096 SkyPlatform above Connolly Park in Caledon Mayfair. It has a large interior space I use as a hanger. The photograph shows me chatting up aviation related stuff with Sin Trenton while he works on his new Marine Marauder Seaplane.

UPDATED: The Party is now less than one week away and I've added one thing to these notes.

My Caledon Mayfair parcel has been converted to an ice-skating park through at least New Year's Day. So your ice-skating talents are indeed welcome!

Flight Tests of the New RCAF Boojum Bomber

A few select pilots of the Royal Caledon Air Force were given a copy of the new Boojum Bomber for Flight Tests and Evaluations by Caledon Scientist Denver Hax.

I managed a good flight over Penzance, Morgaine, Murdann, and Mayfair. However the landing was not as I planned. I lost altitude too fast ((and ran out of time to stay inworld)) but I managed a reasonable emergency landing at my Park in Mayfair.

All in all a successful flight and I was able to walk away from the landing. Always a plus!

A special thank you to Denver Hax from all of us in The Royal Caledon Air Force! Thanks for keeping our brave pilots in the skies!
