BSG47 - VICE Combat Training

SLAMCentralStudios wrote: "BSG47 recently moved on to a physics-based combat system called VICE, which left the majority of pilots completely in the dark as to how to fight.

This video was created from an IN-CHARACTER standpoint to rationalize and explain the changes, and teach old and new pilots alike how to adjust...."

Thanks to Hamlet Au for the tip on this video.

Decisions, decisions...

My SL News: My time is so limited....I have to make difficult choices on what I do in SL and what brings me the most joy.

As many of you know, I love Victorian Steampunk sims such as Caledon, New Babbage, Antiquity and Steelhead City. My involvement in Steampunk has grown at a tremendous rate.

I also love the Battlestar Pacifica sim known as BSG47. My involvement there is growing over time as I get to know more of my fellow roleplayers. A few people I met there have given me a position in IPX and the upcoming Babylon 5 sim. I've been offered a few opportunities I have yet to decide on..... like the possibility of a Duchy sim in Antiquity.

I've developed a love for sailing and flying in Caledon and Antiquity.

Well...I've made the decision now. One I've been thinking of for many months. When I woke up this morning I had the answer to my time management issues.....I've decided to leave several great groups I've created, so this is a painful one....like letting go of your child in a way, seeing her off on her first day of school. Painful, scary, and hoping for the very best for your little girl.

I'll be leaving 3 groups....

1) Girls and Guns
2) Second Life Bloggers
3) Second Life BloggerCon

I'll leave as soon as leadership is filled and transfer of powers are completed.

This decision does NOT come easy, but it *is* a necessary one in order for me to preserve my health, sanity, and happiness in SL.

Images from BSG47 aboard Battlestar Pacifica...Part 2

At the BSG47 sim in Second Life you can be a Cylon, a Civilian in the Colonial Fleet, or have a position in the Colonial Military. If you love Battlestar Galactica, you'll love Battlestar Pacifica.

Zabrina McMahon......Cylon!

Is she a Cylon or a human sympathizer? I really cannot say...

I've come to realize...I don't know my sister at all. I fear there is no turning back for her....and one day I shall face her in battle where I must destroy her, or she will surely destroy the world!

Regency Fest! ....Battlestar Pacifica.....and the New Babbage Majestic Navy

What a great weekend in SL!

This weekend was time well spent in Caledon, New Babbage, and BSG47 Battlestar Pacifica.

Regency Fest was fantastic fun...we are definitely the party sim of Caledon and... whatever happens in Regency, stays in Regency....

In addition to all the partying going on....the weekend could be summed up with one word....uniforms!

I was in some sort of uniform when i wasn't a scantily clad dancer at a party. Yes! From one extreme to the other.

I didn't get any snapshots of us Sunday due to the lag problems, but my GF Tiana Meriman and I went to a sim and did some fancy flying. After some solo flying, we had a ride together in my executive helicopter and did a little roleplay as a TV reporter helicopter crew. We were Newschopper 5 reporterettes! My face hurt from laughing so hard in RL.

And Tiana was an excellent driver in my Dominus Shadow. I think she still has my keys.

Test Flying my BSG Viper Mark II

Protecting Caledon and Antiquity from the Cylon Threat....

I hope I didn't disturb too many of my neighbors with my antics, but a few hours ago I was practice flying my Mark II Viper around my home areas of Caledon Regency and Antiquity Cove. I'm preparing for any pilot opening slots in the Battlestar Galactica roleplay sim known as Battlestar Pacifica BSG47.

Please note the Starbuck-esque cigar for added effect...

BSG47 - Battlestar Pacifica

For months I've been privy to information about an upcoming BSG roleplay sim on the horizon.

When I was starting The Connolly Telegraph , buying and arranging my Victorian Steampunk lands in Antiquity and Caledon, as well as my work on a few other Second Life projects... I lost track of the opening of BSG47, but earlier today (before SL downtime maintenance), I proudly wore my uniform and explored the Battlestar Pacifica for the first time.

BSG47 - Battlestar Pacifica is a roleplay sim based on the re-imagined TV series Battlestar Galactica from the Sci-Fi Channel. The timeline is parallel to Galactica and Pegasus and appears to be a very interesting build.

I think this is something Zabrina will love *winks*
