366 Squadron RAF: Mission 1

We arrived at 0800 for our final briefing.

After parachuting behind enemy lines, the squad formed up, and proceeding toward town.

Fortunately, or unfortunately when you also have a blog going, there was so much action that I couldn't get any pics again until the mission was completed. Our agent was extracted safety and the V1 rocket was destroyed. Plus, we all had a blast doing it!

From left to right:. Sin Trenton, Wendy Charisma (our agent at SS HQ), Foxy Heart, Cornelius Fanshaw, and me.

We invited Axis Team regular Elein Snowpaw to join us as he was our adversary during Mission 1, and a good sport about the whole thing. He also serves a dual role as one of the sim admins so he was delighted to see an organized team of Allies fight today.

We did one major thing wrong and zigged instead of zagged, sending most of the team in the wrong direction for 10 or 15 minutes. But hey, it still worked. The diversion gave me the chance to destroy the V1. If we had two or 3 more people on our squad, I'd have a chance for more photos. But it was all great fun and I'm so happy I got to participate!

I suppose you're wondering why you're all here...

An odd place for a meeting, but it worked.

Test Run of a Secret Mission for 366 Sqn RAF

I did a test run for a combination rescue and sabotage mission in the New Bastogne Combat Regions in SL. I wanted to get an idea what roads to take, plus figure out how many bombs it would take to destroy the German V1 Rocket.

I'm disguised as a German Officer which is probably in violation of the sim rules, but hey... my team is there for a different reason. We're not there to rack up kills like the others. We're there to achieve mission objectives that don't involve them at all...

Take that, Adolf!

SL GROUP: The Men and Women from U.N.C.L.E.

A few years ago I created the group "The Men and Women from U.N.C.L.E."

It's been inactive, but I'm hoping it will get some visibility, new members, and renewed vigor from interest in the upcoming "Man from U.N.C.L.E." movie coming this summer.

If anyone is interested in building U.N.C.L.E. HQ and other props inworld for the Men and Women from U.N.C.L.E. group, please let me know. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to get it going by the time the movie is released.

TimeForce 10 - "We're getting ready for Season 4"

This is a test video, rendered using Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 Ultimate.

I've previously used Windows Movie Maker and Sony Vegas. To use a Goldilocks Analogy, Windows Movie Maker was too simple (and crashed often). Sony Vegas was too complex. Corel's VideoStudio Pro seems to be just right!

So here's the plan! More adventures and more videos!

With the start of TF10 - Season 4, we're planning comics and also comic-style videos.

I'm in SecondLife to have fun, but I'm also a believer in the use of Second Life and Video to tell a story. In my case, my intention is to present our favorite genre elements from the 1960s and 70s into a serial style format, much like the serial films of the silent era through the 1950s.

Many thanks to my father, brother, and sisters who all shared  adventure stories and movies with me. And many thanks to my good friend in Second Life, Mr Cornelius Fanshaw who co-created TimeForce 10 and shares this little passion for spy-fi fun with me.

We would love to have you join us and add your own adventures to this little part of the SL roleplay universe.

TimeForce 10 - Season 2 "Audra Brash"

In the Third Teaser for the Second Season of TimeForce 10, we introduce Audra Brash. Attractive, Young, Energetic, and Brilliant... We see TimeForce 10 through Audra's eyes as a new "point of view" character.

Will she be able to handle the office politics between Zoe Connolly and Erika Drake?

And will she cope with the turf battles between the White House, The Department of Defense, and TimeForce 10.

TimeForce 10 - Season 2 "Erika Drake"

In the Second Teaser for the Second Season of TimeForce 10, we introduce Erika Drake. Ambitious, Attractive, Intelligent, and Blunt... Erika intends to carry out the President's Executive Order 17223. Will Erika find Dr. Dreamscape or will Dreamscape escape once again? And win or lose, will Erika's actions change TimeForce 10?

TimeForce 10 - Season 2 Teaser

With Dr. Dreamscape missing after what should have been a fall to certain death, the President signs Executive Order 17223 - ordering a select group of agents to seek and eliminate her, forever removing Dreamscape as a threat to the Timeline. Dreamscape's assassination warrant, signed in February 2031 is valid through all time periods.

In the weeks and months to come, TimeForce 10 faces a new enemy with an old agenda. But Doctor Elizabeth Lazarus seems all too familiar to the TF10 Team.

Could she be the missing Doctor Dreamscape?

(here is version 2 which corrects the previous aspect ratio problem)

No One Lives Forever - The Adventures of Cate Archer

Forgotten Games: No One Lives Forever

Cate Archer (a mix of Modesty Blaise and Emma Peel) is the heroine in the game No One Lives Forever

Quoting a YouTuber: "From the makers of F.E.A.R. No One Lives Forever may sound like a cheesy title but its not. Its a really, really ...really good game! You play Cate Archer, operative and super-spy who needs to stop the plans of H.A.R.M. of total world domination.

No One Lives Forever got really good scores and was hailed as: The best thing in gaming since Half-Life. Unfortunately, the game didn't sell okay. A sequel was made which was okay but the prequel, Contract Jack was horrible. After Contract Jack, publisher Sierra pulled the plug."

Thanks to my good friend Cornelius Fanshaw for sending the links ;)
