The following video was taken from a camera attached to a weather balloon that rose into the upper stratosphere and recorded the blackness of space.

Wow! A great scientific experiment for that family. 50 years ago, that kind of experiement would have probably costed hundreds of thousands of dollars to duplicate. Amazing.
