So prior to the Sunday dogfight i decided to download the windlight client (again) to get some smoother action for the fight (because the standard viewer was unbearably choppy, even with my fancy new dual-core computer from outer space, and uber high speed connection). Installation of the windlight client proceeded to somehow screw up my wireless card and network connection, and it took me an hour just to get my computer back on the internet. Needless to say, i missed the fight.
The Lindens are officially complete douchebags, as if there was ever any doubt. I think my new niche in secondlife will be to attempt to completely destroy it from the inside out.
Mark, are you using the regular client or the Release Candidate Client? I stopped using the RC weeks ago, the regular client has windlight but is far more stable.
