Coming Soon... The Return of TimeForce 10

Worth a second look...

"A Kiss From Tokyo", Theatrical Trailer (1964) - Yuki 7 dashes around the world in hot pursuit of the tantalizingly tricky Diamond Eye, who is stealing parts and plans and leaving behind a path of murdered scientists in her quest to build a missile inside her
volcanic lair.

If only this were a real movie.

366 Squadron RAF: Mission 1

We arrived at 0800 for our final briefing.

After parachuting behind enemy lines, the squad formed up, and proceeding toward town.

Fortunately, or unfortunately when you also have a blog going, there was so much action that I couldn't get any pics again until the mission was completed. Our agent was extracted safety and the V1 rocket was destroyed. Plus, we all had a blast doing it!

From left to right:. Sin Trenton, Wendy Charisma (our agent at SS HQ), Foxy Heart, Cornelius Fanshaw, and me.

We invited Axis Team regular Elein Snowpaw to join us as he was our adversary during Mission 1, and a good sport about the whole thing. He also serves a dual role as one of the sim admins so he was delighted to see an organized team of Allies fight today.

We did one major thing wrong and zigged instead of zagged, sending most of the team in the wrong direction for 10 or 15 minutes. But hey, it still worked. The diversion gave me the chance to destroy the V1. If we had two or 3 more people on our squad, I'd have a chance for more photos. But it was all great fun and I'm so happy I got to participate!

I suppose you're wondering why you're all here...

An odd place for a meeting, but it worked.

Test Run of a Secret Mission for 366 Sqn RAF

I did a test run for a combination rescue and sabotage mission in the New Bastogne Combat Regions in SL. I wanted to get an idea what roads to take, plus figure out how many bombs it would take to destroy the German V1 Rocket.

I'm disguised as a German Officer which is probably in violation of the sim rules, but hey... my team is there for a different reason. We're not there to rack up kills like the others. We're there to achieve mission objectives that don't involve them at all...

Take that, Adolf!

Thankfulness within SL

It's Thanksgiving Day in America. I've been reflecting on my 9 years in Second Life and today it dawned on me: In addition to being thankful for the many wonderful things in my Real Life, I'm also very thankful for the friends, experiences and memories of my Second Life.

Lately I've been thinking about the many happy years I've had in Caledon and the fun I had with the Royal Caledon Air Force.

The photo above was given to me by my SL friend and RCAF supporter Samantha Poindexter.

More about Bastogne soon...

Remember my posts about New Bastogne last year? A few of them were even featured in New World Notes. My usual roleplaying team (from RCAF, TimeForce 10, Amazon Air, etc.) will be working on our next project that combines piloting, spying, sabotage and assorted combat and rescue missions.

What's in store for us? It could be THIS target...

 It's all very hush hush.

Does this Silhouette make me look Fat?

More photography fun with filters...

(actually it was photography fun with depth, but that doesn't make for a good alliteration)

Some light outside makes a much better contrast than an indoor scene that turns the scene a black silhouette on a gray background.

Now more contrast. But the palm trees at the next location turn out palm-less...

I tried a mix of hairstyles and some are great looking in silhouette. Others not so much.

You can see my glasses here...

That's when I remembered to take my glasses off for the rest.

Also... I took off my dress... naked Zoe pics!

Samantha

It's about time I posted something, so here is a sequence of photos I took of Samantha. Similar pose with different Firestorm in-Viewer, in-Camera filters...
