Throwback Thursday # 4 - October 2007

October 2007 - The photo below was taken at Desmond Shang's estate in Caledon. It captures the moment I placed a "deposit" on my part of what would be known as Connolly Aerodrome in Caledon Penzance.

I didn't know it yet, but I was about to have my best year in SL ever.

What's my second best year? I'm guessing it's this one. I'm almost two months into this great year using Second Life with SLGo.

This isn't from my first year in SL, nor the second, or even third. 

But I really, really, really miss my Time Tunnel!

And after all, isn't a Time Tunnel appropriate for Throwback Thursday?

SL Throwback Thursday

SL Throwback Thursday.

I'm standing on a platform above Connolly Aerodrome in Caledon Penzance. To the left you can see the lighthouse at my place in Caledon Mayfair. Behind me, my brother Lee, Phineas Messmer in SL, had land in Caledon Morgaine. Our family had lots of land back in the day!

This was likely taken late December 2007 or early January 2008. The date on Flickr was January 8, 2008. That would have been just before a computer upgrade which made SL quite awesome for the following year or two.
